Hope you all got a chance to ride this weekend, the little bits of rain on Friday/Saturday really helped the sandy/dry sections today but with the dry weather coming up this week things will likely return.
If you’ve seen people riding with the new trail jerseys and now want one for yourself you can purchase one at the bike shop in town, each purchase helps put fuel in the tanks of our equipment!
The next trail day is on the schedule for the end of this month, Saturday Aug 31st at 9am at the power line parking lot, we’re going to be patching up the areas that the power company cleared under their lines and then taking care of some much needed weed whipping, so please join us so we can make this go quicker.
If there are any weekday warriors that can help us take down some trail hazards and trees at the locations in the image below that would help us out. Big shout out to Larry whose been doing an awesome job on the small S turns on Crazy On You and the continued help with creating water shedding locations throughout the trails.
• Tree on the climb out of 2112
• Cut logs on Margaritaville just as you start the decent are sticking a bit close to the trail
• Tree snapped off overhead on Crazy On You (I don’t mind letting this one fall on its own)
• Leaner that needs to be removed on Crazy On You (see picture below)
• Bonus points for anyone who clears the 1′ down tree across cow path
