The Red Wing mountain bike trails are located in Memorial Park (Sorin’s Bluff) which has dedicated mountain biking trails.
Main Parking
The primary location to park is at the top of Memorial Park near the Lower Quarry referred to as the Power Line Parking Lot. If this is filled, there is additional parking at the Lower Quarry.
Alternative Parking
Parking is available year round at Mississippi National Golf Links parking lot. Note that if you start here your ride starts off with ~1mile climb.
Off Season
Trails are not maintained during the winter season and are marked as closed. You may still use the trails but please be respectful of conditions, if its soft and muddy and you’re leaving ruts please don’t ride. The double track at Memorial Park will be groomed for cross country skiing and we ask that riders are respectful of the groomers and stay off the groomed trails. Some of the single track also gets marked for snow shoeing.
Amenities
Restrooms are porta johns located in the pavilion at the Lower Quarry. There are grills/picnic tables near the Lower/Upper Quarry and the main overlook.
